Revelation 19:11 Faithful and True
Our testimony is that Jesus has been faithful and true and stood alongside, through every storm that has been thrown at us, and never let go of us ever!
-
Revelation 19:9 Invited
The Church as a whole will be invited to the wedding as a corporate being but we will also be invited as individuals, by virtue of our personal salvation that we have received. For many of us who are not usually invited to high-society events and who are often left out and behind, this comes as a blessing indeed!
-
Revelation 19:7 A Wedding!
I pray that we will live out our salvation with fear and trembling, and walk closely with our Lord, that we might walk with confidence and reassurance, knowing that we will be warmly welcomed and honoured as a guest, wearing the white robes of righteousness.Â
-
Revelation 19:1 Salvation, glory and power.
God has been merciful and looked down upon us, the fragile jars of clay, and blessed us with His salvation, glory and power. We might shout ‘hallelujah’ with good reason!

Revelation 18 Babylon part 2
Mystery Babylon has cast its shadow upon world history for so long. The death toll caused by its engineering of financial markets is unimaginable. But yet, in one day, it will sink into its grave and never be heard of again. True freedom is coming on the wings with Christ Jesus when he returns in power and glory.

Revelation 18 Babylon
As we enter the end-times, many believe Babylon will seize the opportunities of chaos, to impose its dystopian vision upon society. It will offer solutions to every global problem and nations will have no other choice but to surrender to its satanic grasp. We will be told of its benign benevolence but the bars of its cages will tell another story.
-
Revelation 18:20 A mill-stone boulder
The tide is turning. The satanic spirit of Babylon has ruled the world, with all her corruptions and spiritual adulteries, and the saints have suffered horrendous persecutions because of this. She thought she would get away with it scot-free but God has come to judge her for her sins.

Revelation 18:14 Backing the wrong city
There is a finality here. The fruit has gone and their wealth vanished and there is no way back. This is no temporary blip whilst they wait for the markets to settle down and recover. There is no quantitative easing or printing of money to sort out these problems. The boat is sinking fast.
-
Revelation 18:11 The merchants will weep…
The selfish greed of the kings of the earth is revealed here. They have been like pigs with their noses in the troughs but now their unrighteous feast has come to an abrupt end. Babylon gave them the luxury and the power that they craved for but now it is all over. They are terrified at her torment for they fear they will suffer the same fate.Â
-
Revelation 18:4 Leaving Babylon Behind
Whilst we live in this world, let us not look backwards to the allure and false promises of Babylon but rather, let’s look forward to our new home, the Holy City, New Jerusalem, that will come down from heaven to earth when Christ Jesus returns in power and glory.
-
Revelation 18:1 Angel of Illumination
This is a majestic verse. The end is near and heaven has come very close to earth. The angelic realm is structured and orderly with chains of command. This angel has great authority over his realm and his inner presence is illuminating the world.Â
-
Revelation 17:15 Keeping a weather-eye.
God is sovereign and is accomplishing his purposes throughout this time. He has given power to the beast to rule and destroy the harlot system. The beast may think he has won a great victory but his own demise is coming up soon.
-
Revelation 17:14 The Victor!
Please tap image and scroll down: The antichrist will gather his forces against Jerusalem, seeking to fulfil the ambitions of his evil master. They will be a formidable army. Jesus will ride out to bring justice. It will be very much a one-sided.battle Jesus will bring divine rule. The Lord will be victorious!Amen!
-
Revelation 17:12 Who is like this beast?
He will seem to be indomitable and many will be discouraged. Some will fall away, overawed by the darkness. But yet he will be destroyed but not by human power. He will seem to be all-powerful but yet Lord Jesus will destroy him in a moment.May we hold on to this truth and bury it deep into our hearts.
-
Revelation 17:1a The Prostitute
The enemy has always been jealous of God and His sovereign Kingdom. He will try to emulate this Kingdom by forging his own alternative system, using guile and coercion to keep his subjects in tow. The principle of this false kingdom has always been in existence and has shaped and governed the nations over the generations. This false kingdom will reach its zenith with the rise of the antichrist.

Revelation 16:17 Earthquake
These earthly phenomena, perfectly describing God’s wrath, come to a head with a great earthquake. There are many earthquakes described in scripture but this is the big one.Â
-
Revelation 16:1 Painful Sores
And so we enter into a grim and melancholy chapter. There is little cheer to be found here. Those who have taken the mark of the beast, hoping to find some form of reward or relief, and having surrendered their soul to the worship of the beast in some shape or form, now find themselves reaping a bitter harvest of ugly and painful sores.Â

Revelation 15:3 A Deeper Understanding
Please click image to reaf full post and scroll down. If you struggle with the horror of Revelation then you are certainly not alone. The absolute horror reflects the weight of sin that has corrupted man to the core. But as we embrace these sacred truths, they will bring us deeper, far deeper than ever before, into an understanding of the heart, into an understanding of the perfect holiness of God.Â
-
Revelation 14:20 The battlefield
To read full post please tap image and scroll down. There is a justice here, that as Christ Jesus was crucified outside of the city, so this battle will take place outside too. Those who hold to the idea that Jesus is a humble servant will be stretched by the description of Jesus as the mighty bloody warrior.Â
-
Revelation 14:20 Trampled winepress
To read full post please click image and scroll down. In the past few posts we have explored the corn harvest which I suggested will be the harvest of the redeemed and then the grape harvest which is clearly the wrath of God being poured out upon the wicked. God will inspire the antichrist to march against Jerusalem but it will be a foolish move.Â
-
Revelation 14:13 Rest from labours
The Christian life is often one of labour but this will not always be the case. Admittedly, we will not be sitting on deckchairs for all eternity, contemplating our navels, but the aches and stresses of our present life will pass away and we will enter into a deep and rewarding sense of peace.Â
-
Revelation 14:11 The cost of the mark
Please tap photo for full post. Some have concluded that they will prepare themselves and their churches when the time comes. But these events will undoubtedly unfold in rapid time. There will be no time for preparation and many will be left hopelessly vulnerable. We are praying that an army of teachers will emerge who will be able to sensibly warn others of the mark of the beast and encourage them to prepare their hearts in order that they might be able to stand firm.
-
Revelation 14:8 Babylon adulteries
Please click photo for whole post. Trying to forge a chronology of Revelation as akin to running an egg-and-spoon race in a force ten gale whilst suffering a bout of hiccups. We will explore Mystery Babylon very soon, suffice to say that her commercial and spiritual adulteries lie behind a great deal of the madness we are observing in our nations today.Â
-
The Pure Song
Please click the photo to see full post. They are offered as firstfruits, indicating that the number of Jews to be redeemed and purchased is not completed by this 144,000, they are merely the firstfruits of a much larger harvest when Christ Jesus returns.Â

Revelation 14 God’s promise
God was angry at the blatant idolatry in Jerusalem and a slaughter would come to those who involved themselves in it. Only those who were repentant and were lamenting over all the detestable things that were done would receive a mark on their foreheads and be spared.Â
-
Revelation 13:12 Evil authority
The strength of the antichrist will be in military prowess and political wranglings. By contrast, the false prophet will excel in the arena of faith and worship, convincing the populace of the wisdom of bowing before the altar of the end-time beast.Â
-
Revelation 13:10 Endurance and faith
This will be an intense period of time. Our worldly considerations will have passed away. We will be on the cusp of the return of our Lord. We will have nothing to lose by surrendering to the will of God. The gap between heaven and earth will be thin indeed and we will be so very conscious of the heavenly realms. Faith and anointing will be permeating through us. The faithful surrender to martyrdom will astound the world and cause many to turn from their sins in repentance. The harvest will be great indeed.Â
-
Revelation 13:7 Murderous conquest
Satan will empower and authorise the end-time antichrist to conquer the saints’ Thus, the antichrist will launch a wave of persecution against Christians throughout the world in order to conquer them.Â
-
Revelation 13 Empire
In the end-times, Satan will raise up and empower a leader and his demonic empire that will perfectly express his evil ambitions by seeking to destroy Israel. His empire will gather and express all the godless evil of previous empires.Â

Saturday recommendation
David Rosenthal from Zion’s Hope has put forward a very balenced and sympathetic report on the whole subject, sensitively exploring some of the hidden agendas that lie behind the whole conflict.
-
Rider on the White Horse conclusion
I would conclude therefore that the two riders are completely different persons. In Revelation 6:1 we have an imposter; an imitation Christ; white-washed with a veneer of deceptive righteousness but with an evil heart that seeks to conquer souls for himself and his own twisted glory’ In Revelation 19:11 we have Christ Jesus who has come in perfect righteousness, to fight and destroy this enemy.
-
Rider on the White Horse 7
Therefore, the rider on the white horse here in Revelation 6 wears a different form of crown to the many crowns worn by the rider of the white horse in Revelation 19:11, thus separating the two as being different people. One is Christ Jesus and the other is the false antichrist.
-
Rider of the White Horse part 6
The rider on his white steed rides out as a conqueror bent on conquest.I would argue that this rider is the Antichrist whose purpose is to coerce and dominate the souls of the inhabitants of this earth by spiritual deception. Our relationship with Jesus is one of willing love and not of forced conquest.
-
Rider on the White Horse 5
So this rider on a white horse may appear to be righteous but he has covered his corruption with lies and falsehoods. We are called to see behind his deceptions and know his evil heart. We need to discern. We must stay close and true to Jesus!
-
Rider on a White Horse 4
It seems strange and unlikely for one of the  living creatures to be commanding or ordering Jesus on a white horse to come forth. In the previous two chapters they were devoutly worshiping him day and night. mt
-
Rider on a White Horse 3
It would be much more likely that this rider is the Antichrist who will actually bring warfare, hunger and death in his wake. Some have attempted to turn the elements of warfare, hunger and death into symbols of this or that but this seems like a desperate attempt to symbolize the meaning out of the text in order to deny the existence of the coming Antichrist.
-
Rider on the White Horse 2
It is imperative that we can discern between Christ Jesus and the deceptive Antichrist, that we can tell who is who, otherwise we risk being horribly deceived in these last days. It certainly makes much more sense that Jesus the Lamb opens the first seal to reveal someone other than himself! Someone such as a false imposter.
-
Rider on the White Horse 1
“It is imperative that we can discern between Christ Jesus and the deceptive Antichrist, so that we can tell who is who, otherwise we risk being horribly deceived in these last days.”

The Martyrdom of Stephen 9
Jesus knows the troubles that we face but he also knows the victory that is coming. Those who hold unswervingly to the faith will know the great victory in Christ. Jesus will come to gather his bride, his beloved church, to bring them into the heavenly courts. In the heavenly courts, Jesus will tend to those who have suffered in the tribulations. And then King Jesus will return to earth once more, to bring justice and retribution and establish his kingdom.
-
The Martyrdom of Stephen 8
We have already seen this principle at work, in China and Iran. Whenever the enemy seeks to bring darkness, the bright light of the gospel of salvation shines ever more brightly! Jesus knows the troubles that we face but he also knows the victory that is coming.
-
The Martyrdom of Stephen 7
The Church will be called to walk in perfect love and forgiveness. Even though it may seem that the Church is being brought to nothing, nevertheless our faith, the faith of Jesus upon the cross, will ensure the victory of King Jesus who will return in power and glory and destroy the enemy with just one breath!
-
The Martyrdom of Stephen 6
But yet the shed blood of the martyrs has never been wasted, not a single drop, and the advancement of the gospel throughout the world has been the blessed fruit of countless martyrs throughout the generations. The more the world will persecute the end-time Church, the wider will be the spread of the gospel and the greater the harvest gathered.Authoritarian governments endeavour to crush the growth of the Church in their nation, but their persecution only serves to purify and give strength to the Church.
-
The Martyrdom of Stephen 5
In the very end-times, in the midst of the tribulation, the Church will draw so near to the court-rooms of heaven; the gap between heaven and earth will be so very thin and we will be bathed in God’s holy presence. It will be the same for the end-time Church. Our witness will become profound and this will cause the world to cover their ears and yell to drown out the sound of such an anointed gospel message. Then the stones of persecution will begin to fly.
-
The Martyrdom of Stephen 4
Stephen did not hold back or pull his punches. He was going for the spiritual jugular and he preached fearlessly. We do not know how many responded to this gospel call but we do know that everyone present heard the clear and unmistakable message of the gospel. And we do know that one person present would later surrender to the Lord. His name was Paul of Tarsus
-
The Martyrdom of Stephen 3
Both the political and the religious authorities will demand that Churches water down their message of repentance. Churches that refuse to bow to the demands of the authorities will be opposed and persecuted.
-
The Martyrdom of Stephen 2
Intense periods of tribulation sharpen the minds and the spiritual perspectives of everyone. The end-time persecution will be a time when foolish indulgences will be put aside and we will be deeply immersed in prayer and intercession. The lukewarm complacent distractions of the church will be swept away.
-
The Martyrdom of Stephen 1
Many great testimonies have come out of the Holocaust of those who risked everything to help those who were being persecuted. Sadly, to our shame, there were also governments that turned their backs and refused to help. When the full thrust of the end-time persecution takes hold then Jesus will be expecting his Church, his body, to be fully engaged in helping those in need.

R12 The venomous snake
The devil has always been full of a demented rage that is caused by his insane jealousy. His self-centred spiritual ambitions have been brought to nothing. The devil knows his time is short and he will strike out with venomous anger, inhabiting and working through the end-time antichrist that is to come.
-
R 12 Martyrdom
And in the absolute horror of martyrdom, there is the strange beauty of countless numbers of men, women and children, over the ages, who have chosen to die rather than renounce their faith. God counts every one of them as being so very precious. .

R12 The enemy deception
Once again, we see the plans and schemes of the enemy beginning to unravel. He has led the world astray with his lies and manipulations. He began in the garden and he has not stopped deceiving the gullible. It is in his very corrupt nature. The warning is there for all of us to heed. These are days of deception.
