Revelation 19:12 Walking In the Light

Continuing our study of Revelation 19.

Revelation 19:12  His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns.’

We may shake our heads once again at the latest atrocity to hit our streets; the latest politician caught in the mire of corruption; the latest persecutory onslaught upon our brothers and sisters in the faith, and the seemingly endless flood of sin that will never make the headlines of our television channels.

Fallen man has made his darkened mark upon this world but the light of King Jesus will shatter the darkness of this world and cast the shadows into the sea.

Revelation 18:1  ‘After this I saw another angel coming down from heaven. He had great authority and the earth was illuminated by his splendour. With a mighty voice he shouted: Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great.’

Jesus’ blazing eyes will be the fire that will illuminate this world and dispel the shadows and darkness of this world.

Isaiah 60:1  ‘Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and his glory appears over you.’

And we will walk in the blessed righteousness of this light.

Isaiah 2:5  ‘Come, O house of Jacob, let us walk in the light of the Lord.’

Hasten the day! Maranatha!
