Day 6 The Harvest
This is day six of a seven day series. To go back to the beginning, to day one, please click here.
Yesterday we looked at how God will draw very close to those who are ministering on this earth. The result will be an immense end-time harvest.
Please either listen to the two minute audio above or read the notes or both at the same time!
The world will be in a time of intense anguish and the rejoicing Church will be in prime place to preach the gospel and witness a wonderful harvest.
Luke 21:26 ‘Men will faint from terror, apprehension of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken.’
Jeremiah 30:4a ‘Cries of fear are heard – terror, not peace. Ask and see: Can a man bear children? Then why do I see every strong man with his hands on his stomach like a woman in labour, every face turned deathly pale?’
Those who have been prepared in their hearts to withstand the coming tribulation will not be hiding under their beds in fear. Rather, they will be able to reach out with confidence to assure those around them with the salvation of God.
Daniel 11:33 ‘Those who are wise will instruct many, though for a time they will fall by the sword or be burned or captured or plundered. When they fall they will receive a little help and many who are not sincere will join them. Some of the wise will stumble, so that they may be refined, purified and made spotless until the time of the end, for it will come at the appointed time.’
Matthew 24:14 ‘And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.’
Isaiah 26:9a ‘When your judgements come upon the earth, the people of the world learn righteousness.’
The Church will be divided: many will be ill-prepared and swamped and overtaken by the circumstances whilst others will flourish and thrive in the midst of the dark times.
Tomorrow we look at how the Church may prepare for the glorious storm that is fast approaching.
