Day 11 Good morning and welcome to day eleven of this fourteen day series focusing on God’s love for Israel. Yesterday we looked at Israel receiving Christ Jesus as their Messiah.
When Christ Jesus returns he will gather His beloved Israel.
Please may I ask you to slowly read these beautiful verses.
Isaiah 27:13 ‘And in that day, a great trumpet will sound. Those who were perishing in Assyria and those who were exiled in Egypt will come and worship the Lord on the holy mountain, Jerusalem.’
Isaiah 35:10a ‘They will enter Zion with singing, everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them and sorrow and sighing will flee away.’
Isaiah 49:13 ‘Shout for joy, O heavens rejoice, O earth, burst into song, O mountains. For the Lord comforts His people and will have compassion on His afflicted ones.’
Jeremiah 31:8 ‘See, I will bring them from the land of the north and gather them from the ends of the earth.’
Jeremiah 31:9 ‘They will come with weeping, they will pray as I bring them back, I will lead them beside streams of water.’
Although we have seen the miraculous gathering of Israel to their homeland in recent years, and although a precious number of Israelites are receiving Christ Jesus as their Messiah today, nevertheless the fulfilment of these end-time promises will not be fully realised until Christ Jesus returns in power and glory.
Hasten the day!
Tomorrow we look at Christ Jesus freeing Israel from their chains.
