Day 6 Good morning and welcome to day six of this short series focusing on God’s love for Israel. Yesterday we looked at the forgiveness of God towards Israel.
Scripture is very clear that just before Christ Jesus returns in power and glory, there will be a period of intense tribulations. These end-time tribulations will be devastating for the Jewish people.
Please may I ask you to slowly and prayerfully meditate on these verses.
Daniel 12:1a ‘There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then.’
Jeremiah 30:7 ‘How awful that day will be! None will be like it. It will be a time of trouble for Jacob but he will be saved out of it.’
Zechariah 13:8 “In the whole land, declares the Lord, two-thirds will be struck down and perish yet one third will be left in it. This third I will bring into the fire, I will refine them like silver and test them like gold.’
Isaiah 48:10 ‘See, I have refined you, though not as silver. I have tested you in the furnace of affliction. For my own sake, for my own sake, I do this. How can I let myself be defamed.? I will not yield my glory to another.
This will be a terrible time, for both the Church and Israel and we the Church must be fully prepared beforehand to pray and intercede for Israel and help them in their distress.
it is vital, that the Church is prepared beforehand, otherwise we will be stumbling around, confused and bewildered and unable to help and serve others during this time.
God has an eternal purpose to achieve through this time of immense tribulation, as we shall see.
Tomorrow we look at God’s protection of Israel during the tribulation. To get there please click here.
Thank you for reading this and God bless your day!
